Google Adwords New(New Year) Policy on Display URL

As everyone beware of Google Adwords display URL policy. Display URL is the URL which is displayed on the ad to recognize the site to user.To make their display URL policy to be clear, recently Google has adjusted its policy for sites that used on shared or hosted domains (such as blogspot.com, wordpress.com) and its policy applies for text, image, audio and video ads.

If you want to create an ad linking to your blog http://seoservicesgroup.blogspot.com. According to Google’s old policy on display URL, blogspot.com would have been an acceptable display URL. But now the display URL should reflect the specific
URL of the blog that you are advertising like seoservicesgroup.blogspot.com.

Example:

Correct:
Destination URL: seoservicesgroup.blogspot.com/
Display URL: seoservicesgroup.blogspot.com

Incorrect:
Destination URL: seoservicesgroup.blogspot.com/
Display URL: blogspot.com

Each ad group must have the same domain as the display URL and it cannot be used as another line of ad text.

Google will no longer approve more information in their display URL. However you will be notified via disapproved email by Google about the suggested display URL.
