After having launched the Google Chrome web browser, Google just now announced Chrome Operating System, a Linux-based OS. The operating system will appear first on netbooks from unnamed manufacturers will include it in the second half of 2010. Google claims the OS won’t have slow boot times, cumbersome user interface, or vulnerability to viruses, malware and security updates.
