Google Chrome Operating System

After having launched the Google Chrome web browser, Google just now announced Chrome Operating System, a Linux-based OS. The operating system will appear first on netbooks from unnamed manufacturers will include it in the second half of 2010. Google claims the OS won’t have slow boot times, cumbersome user interface, or vulnerability to viruses, malware and security updates. Google Chrome OS is being created for people who spend most of their time on the Web, and is being designed to power computers ranging from small Netbooks to full-size desktop systems

On Growing Demand for Real Time Search Engines

Couple of years back, around this same time when Twitter was launched, most of the major search engines have started to think about the idea of ‘real-time’ results and include a ‘freshness’ factor to the results returned for some of the queries that are performed on their search engines.
